
Carrie Goldstein is the Managing Director and Team Lead, Employee Communications at Cheer Partners. In this role, Carrie is responsible for counseling corporate leaders on how to create a foundation for their corporate culture through internal communication and employee engagement strategies.

Cheer Partners counsels Fortune 100 companies on how to change the employee experience by focusing on employee engagement programs that address gaps in their structure and culture to ensure all employees feel connected to their leadership and are advocates for their employer. Additionally, Cheer Partners’ partner with executives to design their professional external thought-leadership platforms, including speaking engagements and social media pieces, that are aligned with their corporate narrative.
Prior to this role, Carrie was a Communications Director at Pfizer. Most recently, Carrie led the strategy for the Essential Health’s Global Brands where she was responsible for developing the proactive communications and issues management approach for a portfolio of 350 brands, including iconic brands such as Viagra, Lipitor and Pristiq.
Carrie also led communications for the Rare Disease portfolio. In this role, Carrie developed a platform that accounted for the needs of the small, individual patient populations, while resonating with the holistic rare disease community. Her responsibilities included creating the portfolio social media presence, increasing colleague engagement through internal communications, counseling the Regional President of North America and supporting clinical asset and brand milestones, including a toolkit for the emerging gene therapy platform.
Prior to that, Carrie also led the communications strategy for the Pain Portfolio, including two of Pfizer’s largest brands – Lyrica and Celebrex. In this role, Carrie launched the one of the first pharmaceutical-sponsored, unbranded Facebook pages for patients. The FibroCenter page reached an audience of 29 million in first year and increased influencer engagement by more than 60 percent. Following the success of the page, Carrie was selected as the Deputy Lead, Digital Center of Excellence, to identify new opportunities in social media, and create guidelines and training for colleagues.
Prior to joining Pfizer, Carrie was Founder and President of Impact Image, a boutique public relations firm that focused on creating integrated marketing campaigns for healthcare providers, patients, caregivers and advocacy organizations. Impact Image also focused on reputation building and issues management programs.
Carrie has earned the Public Relations Society of America’s Accreditation in Public Relations (APR), a distinction received by approximately 5,000 communications professionals worldwide. In her 18 years of communications experience, the work of Carrie and her teams has been honored with more than 25 industry awards.
Carrie received her Bachelor of Science degree and a Certificate of Degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland’s Honors Program.
